good new bsb day (season 2)

It rains heavily in the morning, accompanied by thunders and lightnings, with some stiffness still felt on the leg from the Penang Bridge run yesterday, is a cold and lazy Monday, therefore decided to write a post :)

Since the "good old bsb day season 1" some time ago, i think it is time to write about the season 2, with a bit change to the title, "good new bsb day". Although i hate intel, because of the work there, but the days there recorded some of the happy moments in my basketball experience, mainly contributed by the PDC cup. I search through photos and managed to select some nice photos to be posted here. Time to tell a tale n_n

Tall Guy joined DE in Mar 2004, played for DE in the Jan 2005 PDC cup and it was a history making to clinch DE first Championship title with a close win againts the Layout team. It was 3yrs ago, as of now half of the DE players are all dispersed now, with Swee Aun in Motorola, Jammy & KW changed group internally, while Dhinesh, TC and Chee How still in the same role as 3yrs ago.

Soon Boon 2005 invitation tournament. Coincidently, Penang Bon Odori was held on the same day and same venue. Tall Guy and team lost in the Final game, but had a great time with the colleagues' support.

A handsome young guy that my colleagues' found while watching the game :) He loves the gold fishes that my colleagues caught during one of the bon odori event - catching gold fish with thin paper scoop. But later heard that the fishes died due to lack of proper care, sad case...

PDC Cup 2006. It was awesome to see so many colleagues came to watch and support.

is a mad mad world

What has happened to the world. Crime figures seems like following Moore's law too. The rape case in Johor recently is really outrages as well, read that there were 2 similar cases commited by the same suspects last week with the same crime method (hit the car, slash the bf leg, took them for a terror ride, hit the bf, rape the gf, rob them of their belongings...) Totally outrages, really wish that these animals just die, they dont deserve to live in this world.

And just this afternoon, during lunch time, where Adrian come to pick me and SY up for lunch, while on the way to the town, we saw one malay guy on a motorcycle trying to snatch a girl's bags, right in front of our eye in a broad day light. The girl (look like a Japanese tourist) managed to pull the bag back, Adrian quickly stopped the car at the busy road side and started pressing the hon, another motorist saw that too also stopped and shouted, the snatcher got panicked, saw us waiting for him at another exit, he quickly turn his motorbike and sped of at the other direction. We didnt managed to note down the plate number... Me was totally stunned at that time, regreted now that I didnt really do anything as I was trying to process what had happened. I should have jumped down from the car and go after the thief, try to grab him or what so ever. I really angry and filled with hatress now, knowing that the snatcher got off today, although he didnt manage to get anything, but i believe he would act again, probably on the same place or some where else, and some other people would fall prey to him next time. What can i do? File police report? nope, because there is no case, dunno who is the tourist also as she had walked off. I cant do anything now is what makes me so angry. Only can blog about it and just hope that each and everyone of you, especially girls to be careful when you walk on the street, even if you are with a group of friends, because these animals dont even care and very daring. Anyhow, if they do meet me next time, they will pay. Not sure how, but i will try. btw, this is the first time i witnessed a snatching incident. dont think i can forget it or the animal's impression. A person who look like ordinary malay, but is very evil and daring. Never trust any stranger you see on the street, as they could be an animal. These animals dont deserve to live.

what has change

Been a while since my last post. I have started working in the new company and today is my 2nd day at work. Still can consider in honeymoon week i think n_n

Got my laptop on the first day at work, managing some data and contacts, and today did a lot of reading to enable me to work effectively in the coming weeks. "How's work at the new place?" This is the often question that many of my friends had asked me :) I would say that so far so good, but still too early to tell.

However, i do notice some changes for me. First of all, I have to buy breakfast every night before the next day since there is no cafe and there is no practice of taking breakfast together with colleagues. My current choice is to go to Tesco Extra's Kings Bakery for breads :) I think it would become a routine to me.

Also, I have to wake up early again, and reach office around 7am-7.20am. On the journey to office, it is wonderful to see the sunrise, the beautiful art of nature, reflecting on the surface of the sea while i was driving along the Jelutong Highway. I didnt managed to capture a photo of that since i was driving.

While I was driving, it is also the right time to tune into MyFM "cha3 bou4 ma1 bou2" again. I always tune into this program when i used to drive from Butterworth home to work more than a year back. In this program, the lucky caller have answer 10 questions correctly in 60secs. Clues to these answers have been given hours before the calling time, and more to general knowledge and latest news on newspaper. Each correct answer wins the caller RM10 and if the caller able to answer all 10 in 60secs, he/she will win RM1000. And just today, the lucky caller won RM1000. Like the program because it test my knowledge as well, funny when the caller gave funny answers and suspence when the caller almost nail the last few questions :)

On the way to office, i am also able to view the construction progress of Serina Bay, my future home with anticipation.

At office, since the work community is small, ~30 persons, tend to know everyone in person and get more attention on work and none work.

On the flip side for change, rarely have the chance to have a large crowd for breakfast/lunch/dinner already. Miss the day at intel where we often come out for meal in a large crowd. Since many of the new colleagues are family person, seldom have after work activity as well.

Looking forward for some happening days :)
