blogosphera

I myself dont even know when blogging started to take shape. I only knew about blogging when I first read Jules and jlaw's blogs some years back, and only took up the blog writting habit less than a couple of years back.

Then you heard or read about singers/artists in the entertainment industry also has their own blog, with the main purpose to reach out to their fans in a different way.

Then, you heard about top blogger in Malaysia KennySia and top blogger from Singapore XiaXue. They are like celebrity in the blogosphera, almost ever bloggers knew about them.

After a while, you heard about the blogger jeffooi who is very much active in politic, who is now the Jelutong's constituent MP's as well as the first blogger turn politician in the history. Probably you are not aware, I always likened jeffooi becoming MPs in the Parliament to Arnold Schwarzenegger becoming Governor of California :)

As of today, Dr Khir Toyo himself is now a blogger as well in the familiar google's blogspot, making headlines in some chinese newspaper today. Dr Khir is said to be the first senior UMNO member who become a blogger, and with speculations that many politicians will follow his footstep.

Case in point, there are 2:-

1st, blogging is now a recognized media and trend in the world wide web. I see that current blogging proliferation is just at the infant stage and there is a huge space for growth. With this, Nuffnang (a blog advertising company and Asia first) will make big furtune from there.

2nd, socio-politic-bloggers were once condemned by government/politicians, and they were like "pest", who falsified facts, and poaching into the "sentiment issue" territory, and often got sued or arrested. But now you see many politicians started to take up blogging. Arent it an irony?

drunken ankle

Yes, I kid you not. It is really a "drunken ankle", my left ankle to be precise :)

After the 3on3 basketball game over the weekend, I am having some little problem/pain with my left ankle again. Not that I sprained it or anything, but the little pain on my left ankle comes and goes.

So, as soon as I am back to Penang this evening, I went to pay a visit to the sensei again.

After some checking, the sensei deduced that the left joint on my left ankle might having some soft tissue injury. Dont have the detail though.

Looking at the past treatment doesnt really help, sensei said that he would like to try some other type of "medicine". He then pulled out a bag from a corner of the room. In the bag, he pulled out yet another plastic bag that is actually a ball of sticky medicine to be pasted on my ankle. Is no doubt one of the sensei "secret recipe"

While he was wrapping up my ankle with bandage, he then asked me "Do you have rice liquor?"

"What? Rice liquor? To drink?" I replied.

"Nonono... This medicine is different. It can dry easily and can cause itchiness. You need to pour some rice liquor on the bandage every 2 hours to make sure it is wet" sensei explained.

Sensei also adviced me to wet the bandage with rice liquor before I sleep at night and I can put a sheet of plastic bag on my bed for my left ankle so that it wont dirty the bed with liquor.

Really interesting. First time I heard of such treatment. I was silly enough to ask about drinking the rice liquor at first *_*

So, after the visit, I bought 2 small bottles of rice liquor as below from a sundry shop nearby, and I dare not to tell the shop-owner is for my ankle :)

So, there you have it. I am gonna make my left ankle to take a "sip" of rice liquor every 2 hours, and a certain amount of it before sleep.

Of course, the best remedy for recovery is to really take a good rest. Guess I will be missing out from basketball as well as exercise sessions for quite a while, that is until my ankle felt better, at least for a couple of weeks.

Damn, I envy my drunken ankle below while I am sober "p

Come to think of it, alchohol is flammable. What if there is a spark near my left ankle?

"drunken ankle" become "roasted ankle"? Oouch... "p

FAQ

*********************************************************************************************
small talk:
tempted to write this post before I am away over the weekend for logistic reason
*********************************************************************************************

Disclaimer: all the contents in this post/blog are purely my sole opinion/speculation from hearsay and has nothing to do with any other person/entity or representing the view of any company/organization. The accuracy of the content is my pure interpretation at my best knowledge and should be used at your own risk & discretion.

To save me some effort of duplicating the content everytime my friends ask me, I decided to write an FAQ over here, hehehe...

I personally think that this FAQ is useful if you need it under some circumstances.
Who knows, it might come in handy after you received your focal and want to make further contemplating.

So, when is the best time other than now to document this. Here it goes for a brief initial revision. I will continue updating the post from time to time whenever I got newer items to add. You are free to drop me questions too. So, it will be a "living" post, and hope that you will find it a very useful FYI.

(1) SOP expiration after termination?
Stock Option Program offered and vested during your tenure in the company will only expire after 3 months from your official last day at the company.

(2) RSU expiration after termination?
Restricted Stock Unit offered and vested during your tenure in the company will only expire after 3 months from your official last day at the company.

(3) Does SPP expires after termination?
Stock purchased under the Stock Purchase Program during your tenure in the company wont expire. The stock is purchased using your own money, so they are yours. However, after 3 months from your official last day at the company, your corporate UBS account will seized to operate/expire. Therefore, you need to create a new personal brokerage account (with UBS or any other certified brokerage companies) and transfer them prior to the corporate UBS account expires so that you can further manage the SPP stocks.

(4) 2 months notice?
General guideline for resignation requires 2 months notice in the company. You can utilize your annual leaves or any other leaves to clear majority/all of the 2 months notice, but it all depends on the negotiation between you and your supervisor, because your supervisor has the autocratic right to approve/reject the leave application with reason. However, if you have a good proposal on responsibility transition and clearing the remaining task at your hand, your supervisor should have no choice but to approve this leave clearing. Be smart, stand firm on your view and there is always a channel (including escalation to supervisor's supervisor or HR) if your supervisor rejecting your proposal without any reasonable reason.

(5) EB & ECBP?
General tip is to put 30 June as your official last day at the company (but actual last day can be earlier using your leave to clear the 2 months notice), so that you are entitled to the EB and ECBP in June-July. You deserved the bonuses and you should not let it slip away. If your new company requesting you to report in earlier, try to communicate with them and delay the reporting date appropriately. You can tell them that you need this delay to complete your responsibility transition as well as clearing your tasks at hand. This will potray you as a person with integrity and responsibility.

(6) last day email notification?
If you need a template to write your "last day at the company" email, I have a dozen templates to spare :)

small talk:
oh, it's sizzling hot news, at least for me
I heard that a pervert from my ex-company sexually assulted a girl in the conference room. I mean, OMG, what is this "professional" thinking at the first place? Too tense or too bored at work until lost his mind already? As for the detail of the assult, nobody really know. Everyone just speculating. And there is a time where the news about it has been blown out of proportion, until people speculating rape, forensic etc etc. So, there is a directive to passdown to all the employee and clarify that it is just a pure "sexual assult" during staff meeting, with large crowd turn up at the normal low attendence staff meeting, and asking lots of questions too. Damn, I missed all the "hot" stuff
(update - I got some good sources saying that the perpetrator is a Janitor. Thanks to xwei and jlaw for clarifying :)
********************************************************************************************

Hi everyone. So, what have I been doing? Been slacking actually :) Anyway, am back to blogging, for a while, hehehe...

I have been making some plans for the coming weekends. Out of the 4 coming weekends, 3 of it I will spend it in Shah Alam, KL & PD. For basketball, for wedding dinner, for gathering etcetra etcetra. It is going to be a good quality time, I hope :)

With this, I have decided not to take my laptop along with me when traveling down this time. Ideally, wanna kick back and relax without the urge to get connected, unless my boss ask me to standby over the weekend, which is very rare. The truth is, I have not been parting with laptop everyday or disconnected for more than 12hrs for the past few years, except the day I resigned about 9months ago, where I dont have laptop for like a few days, which felt stress-free and good. It has become a habit and there is always a sense of work responsibility there to get connected and get updated with project progress. Aint a good sign isnt it. So, I try to see how deep I am "addicted" this time by being laptop-free over the weekend, hehehe...

So, as a civic blogger, wanna set an OOP/reminder here that I will be "missing" from blogging for a while over the weekend. Anyway, dont be despair. I have a new toy - my digicam, and I will share many photos with you when I am back. So, happy weekend time ahead, and Happy April's Fool on next Tuesday. Talking about April's Fool, I would like to stress that this is not a trick post, ok? :)

beng+soup+jules+jason=??? (updated)

Chef Beng cooked some black pepper white carrot chicken soup for us tonight, some light soup for supper kinda thing. Thanks dude.

According to Chef Beng, the soup is good for digestion, thus you will fart a lot after drinking it. pupupuuuufffff... eeeow... "p
I think he said is good for heaty body too. But not horny... I wonder...

Not that I become horny just now after drinking the soup. Just that finding Jules there at home too (of course he is there, since he rent there mar "p), felt like a special occasion, because he seldom at home since who knows when, after he got "obligated" or something like that, I think, haha "p

So, I chat more with him crazily trying to catch up on what is going on about him. To my little surprise, he volunteered to talk about many things about my "beloved" intel. Probably he is trying to "poke" me as he know that I would be very much interested about this and that about intel, and he like to see my reaction. Well, I played along "p

From sarcasm to belittle thingy, I started by poking him about him watching the NTV7 Mandarin news. Jules tried to understand what is the news reporter saying, followed by watching local Chinese drama, then he told me he listened to chinese radio station 988 every morning too... I mean, Jules is a "banana" (english educated), and because of "something" (isnt that obvious?), he tried his best to learn mandarin to the sake of love... aww... isnt that lovely... :) Love really have the "power" to shape a "better" person!!! Cant deny that :)

Ending the "poking" topic, he showed me some photos about some dude in intel drove his newly bought SMART car PHQXXXX directly to a lamp post, hitting a traffic signboard too, subsequently the signboard crashed landed on another Honda City (i think) parking beside. Damn... that should be really hurt *_* Dude Jules, if you reading this, send me the photos lar, so that I can share with my readers, hehehehe :)

update - Jules sent me the photos today, posting it here.
Auch... damn...

Then he talk about a possessed and exorcism incident that happen at intel toilet recently. Really quite scary stuff actually. Dont want to talk in detail here... spooky...

At one time, I even used Jules IM on his laptop to buzz xwei, haha...

Switching gear (intellier's favorite quote), he then showed me some chics' blog, followed by some of his friends or his friends' friends, all chics photos in friendster etc etc. And because I am paying some interest in some of the photos, they (Beng & Jules) think that I am horny... But... I am not lar. Am just playing along since it is a special occasion mar "p Jules, you understand now? Btw, LS, if you are reading this, dont be mad of Jules ya. He is just sharing some of his "stash" with me only, oopss *_* haha. Am a bit crazy actually, probably because of the soup... Blame the soup, dont blame Jules :)

In the middle of something written above, I think I remember Jules quoted to me something "wisdom" about why he rarely blog now. I think he said that he seldom blog doesnt mean that he is "mundane" or not "active" in blogosphere anymore. He still read a lot of blogs and articles other than work, and he enjoyed that. Then I asked him, how does he felt about my blog (since he read my blog too). With him not dare to look me straight in the eye when he answered, he said that he liked my posts about politic (especially) and about how I "love" intel posts (generally). In a snapshot, I think he felt that my blog was "OK". He even "poked" me to go further more like joining politic like Jeff Ooi. I mean, "hiu..."

Looking at my blog page sitemeter, the stat is going downhill to below 10 unique visitors lately. I guess something should not be right with the posts. Or probably I should take Jules heed to rarely write blog, and read more. Or I can just blame Chef Beng's soup for no reason. Hmm... I think I will take the last one, blame Beng's soup, hahaha... Time for bed. Till then.

couple of moment

During dinner with friends in a non-airconditioned restaurant while the sky is drizzling, a bunch of MediaCorp artists also came for dinner over there. Yes, is a bunch, not one, not two, but a bunch, haha, how rare and lucky.

A few of my friends were very excited. I ride along the excitement as well, but I dont know who is who, dont know their name also, only recognized a few of them because I watched some of the Singapore drama before :)

What impressed me is that these artists are not fussy about taking dinner in a non-airconditioned restaurant, deserve a thumb up! We guessed they are doing some filming nearby, maybe. Btw, we had dinner at the corner restaurant near Public Bank Sungai Nibong.

After dinner, I followed Ah Beng for some cooking ingredients shopping at Tesco, since he car-pooled me. While I was there waiting for Beng picking some pieces of chicken for the soup, I noticed a group of USM students (a guy and 3 girls) also doing some cooking ingredients shopping too. They have eggs, garlics, veges etc etc

I guessed they are housemates. Reminded me of the uni days when we (housemates) cooked for dinner together once in a while, had a great meal while economical, and economical is the main theme at that time. Boy, suddenly missed the cooking days with ex-colleagues too. Talking about this, remind me of jlaw's yummy "san bei ji" (mandarin, direct translation to english is - three cups chicken), haha...

baseless rumour

Early Saturday morning, I received a "rumour" SMS as below from a friend who probably received that from another friend and so on and so on. This is how rumour spread in this technology age, and it is very efficient and fast.

For those who dont understand mandarin, this is what the SMS says...

Anwar has successfully persuaded Sabah's 29 MPs to join the Opposition.
23rd March is the day that Pak Lah have to step down.
At that time, probably the 513 incident will happen again.
Remember to stack rice and food. (pass on the sms to person you care about)
At times, I understand that we need to be paranoid about things, even Intel's Andy Groove once said before that "Only the paranoid will survice" and many intelliers look up to that quote.

BUT!!! There are times also that we need to use our BRAIN to process the facts that being presented to us before jump straight into paranoia, right?

Another blame is, some Malaysian has been taught to be the receiver end of everything, to be an obedient and polite follower at work and at politic, all thanks to the education system or the whole good old country's system. I believe is time to wake up a little bit, and this is the main point I want to make with this post.

I mean, if you think properly about the wording that used in the SMS, do you think that Anwar is the kind of person that like to/will PERSUADE other MPs, especially from the rivals? He dont PERSUADE MPs. He (as well as any other elected MPs) only serve or probably PERSUADE the RAKYAT(people), this is what I believe.

For the 12th General Election Parliament's result, BN won 140 seats while opposition took 82 seats. If there is indeed 29 MPs "jump" from BN to opposition, BN will have 111 seats while opposition with 111 seats as well. It is something like 50-50 shared. At glance, it is a very beautiful number of 29 that make this new composition, but it is unlikely to have such a 50-50 split (but not impossible, only with a very slim chance). This alone has put a question mark to the SMS before you jump into conclusion to stack for food, right?

29 MPs from Sabah??? For cold hard fact, please look up SPR website for the 12th General Election Parliament's result here. There is only 25 Parliament seats allocated for Sabah, where 24 won by BN and only 1 won by DAP. Obviously the number is incorrect.

Undeniably, there are news (not rumour) about negotiation between Opposition and MPs from BN who want to join the opposition, but now obviously some 'evil' parties trying manipulate the agenda for their own benefits.

513? It is something scary in the mind of many Malaysian. It is something that almost everyone wants to avoid and fear of. This alone is evident enough that everyone will make their best effort to contain such incident from happening again. Malaysian are more mature now, dont underestimate people's INTELLIGENCE!!! So, to those 'evil' parties, DONT SIMPLY hang the term "513" besides your mouth for everything, because you just simply making a fool of yourself at times!

Lastly, why these 'evil' parties want to do such thing at first? PROBABLY they hope that such rumours will cause chaos in food supply chain, causing declaration of State of Emergency (darurat) in some states, and follow by another re-election for another chance to regain control in those states. There is another POSSIBILITY that strain in food supply chain will mark up prices or boost sales, making certain people filthy rich. Am just presenting a couple of PROBABLE causes. You do the rest of the thinking. Time to think and not just keep on receiving only.

focal

*********************************************************************************************
small talk:
Is it an evil day or the planets/stars align in an evil formation today?
Because people drive crazily and dangerously today on the road...

So, how's the overall focal result everyone?

I guess many of you got your result by now, and it is a popular chat-over-the-meal-topic recently that will last for quite a while. For those who still havent got it, even more curious, right?

I myself have the privilege of listening what people have to say about it because I have many friends from the place I used to work for.

So, would like to pen down some of my thought about what I have heard, for you to make a reference at least, and to verify how true it is. I will try to be a fair analyst in this case, hehehe, hope so "p

In General
> The result is not as good as the previous years with SMA (Special Market Adjustment).
> "Successful" performer get an increment between 3% to probably around 9%, which is below 10%.
> majority those "successful" who got below 5% are even pissed.

jason says:
- enjoying SMA for 2 years with double digit % increment has left a high standard of norm to many, and suddenly taking that away from them make them grade this scenario as below norm, thus majority are not quite satisfied/happy about it
- percentage is really a very subjective thing. 5% on RM2000 = RM100, while 5% on RM5000 = RM250. That is 250% difference for a 5%. So, it all depends on your base salary. Some people are happy with the 5%, but many would not be happy. Simply put. ONLY MANAGERS are happy :)
- the company is not an "attractive" place to work in anymore for some people (not all actually). Stock is not performing well/low return. Those who bought SPP and kept them may have their stock devalued due to the getting-lower USD currency while the stock low-performing. Selling RSU or SOP will yield lower revenue compared to a few years back due to USD currency devaluation with the same amount of stock units.

Case1
- personA took grant/scholarship from company to pursue part-time master or PHD program and is bonded to the company for a certain period of time
- personA got "IR" (Improvement Required) this year and very upset about it. Totally no mood to work and went for drink with colleagues that very sad day.
(in case you dont know, getting an IR forfeits the receiver any increment that year and required to undergo some re-training programs in the company to improve his/her performance. It is a "nightmare" that many wouldnt desire)
- some say that because personA is bonded to company due to grant/scholarship, personA's manager or department's managers decided that the bond is a "collateral" that can be used to held personA as "hostage" and they can do whatever they want

jason says:
- from past working experience, I would say there is certain truth about the bond thing being used as "collateral", but this kind of occurance is very rare. The occurances only reflect how 'evil' certain minority managers are, and if you see such 'trait' from certain managers, you better try to get as far as possible from these "evils"
- there is a possibility that personA might have neglected the tasks assigned because have to concentrate on the assignments/papers, but this would be very rare
- is all about managers, wanting or not wanting to excercise bureaucracy or "abuse" their authority. you better work smart

Case2
- personB was sent oversea some time back and is again bonded to the company for a period of time
- personB got "Exceed Expectation" in this year's focal, yet percentage of increment is below 10%
- personB is feeling "average" about the result
- personB found a greener pasture with even better increment and has tender resignation

jason says:
- a wise choice indeed to move on to greener pasture. Good timing as well. The best time to resign is now, where you can have the option to "bargain" (if there is). If resign is still the final fate, make sure your final day is on 30th June, so that you are still entitled to the mid-year bonuses that you deserved. This is a tip!
- again, percentage is a very subjective thing. Probably personB has a very high base salary from the past focal

Case3
- a few personC got promoted in this focal or sent oversea recently so that company can bond them
- simple reason is attrition rate is too high for certain departments and some managers has felt the "heat". Some he/she is the last standing few of seniors/experienced personals that managers will be "crippled" if they do lose them
- promoted people will get more than 10% increment and sent oversea people will enjoy allowances on top of salary and the experience of US liftstyle with low-medium workload. Simply put, is a luxury and vacation to many who had been with the company for quite a while AND managers fond of them.

jason says:
- is a logical sign of desperado managers that will benefit those who are patient enough and took the risk to stay longer with the company
- then again, this has proven that performance based policy for focal is bull at certain extent and all of it boils down to managers. Also proven that the rotation policy and picking the candidate who best-suits the traveling tasks policy are all bullshit. It can be bent easily through bureaucracy.
- is not about how you can work for the managers/company, is about how the company/managers can work for you AND they needed you

EE

## engineers and none-engineers

$EE = "Electronics Engineering";
$field = $_;

if ($field =~ "hardware") {
print "You are in Hardware Engineering\n";
} elsif ($field =~ "software") {
print "You are in Software Engineering\n";
} else {
print "You are neither an engineer nor from $EE. You may not get what I am writting here
\"p\n";
}

Well, dont take it too serious, ok? I simply made up code "p

Anyway, I bet some of the engineers who are reading this did at least try to find flaws in my code, right? Can't help it, isnt it? :)

Let me quote another example, there is an instance where my colleague showed her friend who are not from engineering field the normal day to day emailing with other engineers/couterparts/customers. Her friend were confused!!! Especially with the "english" and logical statement that engineers used. Her friend even quoted...

"What is AR means?" (AR == Action Required; usually means that a task required immediate attention, and commonly someone's name is assigned next to it, and in a worst case scenario, if ab issue occurs, the person usually get into trouble because it is in the record. Cool isnt it, haha :p)

"What is all the capital letter thing with numbers?" (in general, the code used to represent something, such as product code etc)

"Why use all the short form/acronym? If a chair is a chair, just say is a chair lar, why say it differently?" (probably simply because engineers are lazy to type out the whole word; or probably the acronym sounded cool, isnt it ASAP sounds cool?; or simply because engineers like to figure out the acronym by themself, making them feel proud, haha "p)

"The email is dull. I cant understand it. I give up lar" (this I have no comment, haha)

Undeniebly, sometimes engineers really DONT speak "english" or "human" languages. And some even obsessed with lots of data/numbers/graphs/statistics or even images/photos/snapshot/screenshot, you name it :)

So, to all my friends out there who are not from engineering, sorry ya if sometime I really dont speak "human" languages, especially when you asked me what do I do for living :)

But if you are interested, I can try to "translate" them to real english to make you understand, with the condition that the things that I revealed is not Confidential. Oops, almost forgotten about this, engineers are sometimes bound by law to keep secret about their work. Pressure... But what to do, gotta earn a living, right :)

Dont get me wrong, I do have some interest in engineering, that is why I am in it. But I realized that it is not a long term thing. In the mean time still stuck with it until I can figure out what else I can do for living, hehehe :)

puffing

***************************************************************************************
small talk:
14/3: rumour has it that a group of people (you know who), probably around 1000 (compare it to 50000, aiyo...)
took it to the street near KOMTAR Penang after Friday prayer
police seen everywhere during lunch time today, seen FRU (Federal Reserve Unit) too, seen road blocks along the Jelutong highway, heard of sirens here and there.
The irony is, some time back, when opposition demonstrates on the street, somebody condemn it as illegal, uncivilized and so on and so on. Look who is doing that now? :) Or probably they are now well adapt to the opposition role.
But the straight to the business new Penang CM, Lim Guan Eng even allowed the demonstration, but caution the demonstrators to demonstrate with a reason/cause supported with facts and not purely to provoke riot.
But I must say that upon the arrival of the 8 trucks strong FRU with water canons, the demonstrators ran off with their tails between their leg in no time. So efficient.
I commend the enforcement officers for swiftly disperse the crowd and return the peace and harmony to the community there. Only one minor lacking - no arrest were made though.
Anyway, seriously, I really started to gain confidence with the democracy, with the system and with the enforcement force in Malaysia. It gave me some silver lining hope :)
(but seems like this small talk aint that small though "P)
***************************************************************************************
Roughly, there are only around 23% to 25% of smokers in Malaysian population, yet these quarter of people cause a lot of nuisance, polution as well as death around us.

I am not sure about you, but I just hate IGNORANT smokers. Courteous smokers are actually still fine with me.

At my work place, besides having to deal with the parking issue, a group minority chimpanzees from the neighbouring companies just plain ignorant enough to think that can smoke everywhere. Lift, lobby, toilet, basement, "dungeon" etc, you name it.

In case you dont know, some of my colleagues/friends smoke too, but they are courteous enough to smoke at the designated areas, dont mind take a walk to those area and puff away. But some chimpanzees are just plain chimp.

Seriously, do you think an ignorant smoking chimp cool???

Or do you get turned on seeing a smoking chick like this? (not me though)

Presented me with a situation, I must do something, right?

So, more than a month back, I notice that there is a "NO SMOKING" sign paper pasted around the office vicinity. Not sure who created it though. But using it as template, I photocopied a bundle of it and started my "Mission of Irritation"

I know I know, the sign is very "inviting"... hehehe...

But I cant help it mar, I couldnt find a decent "No Smoking" sign like these mar...

So, I pasted the sign EVERYWHERE, including the toilet cubicles, the toilet main door and the lift lobby.

Since then, many times the sign has been tore down by the chimps, but I consistently pasted a new one back, brilliant isnt it :)
After some time, chimps gave up the tearing tactic, because they realized that it is not working. So, they decided to take up graffiti class. I must say that they are very creative and well adopting to change, got some steep learning curve there by the chimps.
And all of a sudden, "Stick No Bill" policy supercede "No Smoking" law. Very smart chimps who studied in law, I presume.

"Stick No Bill"

Some chimps even know some word twisting too, and this I must praise

"PLS DON'T NO SMOKING"

Some chimps courteous enough to left the sign semi tore there

And the Best of the Best (BOB) is located at the toilet cubicle.

"NO SMOKING. DON'T EVEN THINK OF SMOKING HERE. EXCEPT F*%&ING HERE"

I mean, it is a MALE TOILET dude. How the hell you gonna do "that" over there? Unless...

OMG!!! I just uncovered a neighbour companies' gay chimps scandal. Uhh.... Ahh... How how???

I cant take it d.

Oh, I'm going to faint.

Oh, I'm getting heart attack liao, how how???

Maybe I should listen to the General Surgeon who once gave me this...

Okok, me gotta get serious "p

The conclusion is, my "Mission of Irritation" is a wonderful success. I managed to create the kind of irritation that smoker chimps couldnt resist to respond to and all are within my expectation, which I believe have "made their day/days" in many ways for some time.

To all IGNORANT chimps who smoke indoor and everywhere they like, now you finally taste the kind of "irritation" of non-smokers. Because when you smoke, you couldnt even care about the bad odour that you left at the lift lobbies or toilets for hours, and I bet you dont even bother about the health hazard you cause to other. Now, you go ahead and taste/savour the irritation that I make for you, muahahaha...

Story end?

Not yet actually "p

Besides the "Mission of Irritation", I took the matter to the official channel too. I met with the building management personal, clarified that whether it is allowed to smoke at the lift lobbies, and the answer is a unanimously "NO".

Then I requested them to put up an official "No Smoking" sign at the lift lobbies, so that next time I see any chimps smoke there, I will remind/"tegur" them, because I have the "license" mar. However, till today, the sign is still no where to be seen. Probably decision like this is quite hard make and may need to take months to decide, I presume.

I also asked them, is this thing on the lift lobbies' ceiling a smoke detector? (Because I never heard it beep when chimps smoke there.) The answer is "NO" also. Then I ask what is that? He said he dont know... okie dokie...

Then, there is this dustbin with ashtray on top of it. Come on, seriously, in an indoor lift lobby where chimps not allowed to smoke by law, why the hell do you put a dustbin with ashtray there? For this point, I forgotten to highlight to the building management, but I will do it again next time when I visit them again about the "No Smoking" sign ;) Persistent ya, even though if I cant really make much difference at the end, at least I tried, right "p

Opps... this post is getting too lengthy. I think is about time to wrap it up.
