an excerption from a series...
(entree of the episode)
"Spring cleaning - a curious ritual.
It meant time to read ourself of things that we didn't need anymore.
The first step is reflection,
what's worth keeping,
what's lost it's value and can be given away.
For some, the choice is easy.
For others, much more difficult..."
(closing of the episode)
" Spring cleaning isn't about sorting through thing and getting rid of clutter,
is about taking stock of who you are,
and how other see you.
It's a chance to redefine yourself,
to change expectations,
and to remember that it's never too late to recapture who you were,
or to aim for who you want to be..."

grey
This post is dedicated to Ms xwei
So, xwei, do you know that Grey's Anatomy is back?
Season 4 wor...
YOUR (and some many other gals out there) Mr McDreamy is back wor...
And is now screening in US wor...
Some more already episodes 12 wor... (according to mybittorrent)
Oh my... I'm so outdated... Need to catch up soon
And yes, I like Grey's Anatomy too. I like the show because of the controversial scandal stories and Grey's life stories. And sometimes in the middle of the season, there will be one exciting yet touching heart emergency scene that split into 2 episodes, like the emergency room got bombed and some officer died, and there is another one where Grey drowned herself, suspense!!! That is why I love the show =)

aya's diary
"dont rush... dont force it... dont give up... because all of us are walking together step by step"
"is not that im the only one in pain. Either people who understand or dont understand, both are actually in pity situation"
"using a pollinated stem to describe my life. At the very early stage, i want to appreciate it without any regret"
"mum, in my heart, you always believe in me. From now on, i will always need your help. Sorry for always have to make you worry"
"why the dreaded sickness chosen me? I find it hard to accept this as destined."
"If i was not sick, i can fall in love, without holding back"
"I really want to hold on to a person"
"I wont say again that i cant go back in time. I want to accept who i am right now, accept the situation i am in now and live on"
"although i was hurted by the unintentional gesture, I still know that people around me still care for me"
"therefore i would like to stay here a bit longer, because this is where i belong to"
"even if you fall down, it is still ok. Because all you need to do is to stand up again."
"when you fell down, take the chance to look up at the clear blue sky. The sky dont have limit, smiling with you gently"
"people cant always live in the past. As long as you live the current moment, it is good enough."
"mum... can i... really get married one day?"

Everwood

Another series that I love. I watched the show a few years back on TV, that time was still season 1, and now it had a complete seasons of 4. I downloaded Season 2 & 3 just recently, and started watching it again. However, I was not able to find Season 1 & 4 to be downloaded… Anyhow, this will not hinder me from keep on searching. Worst come to worst, will ask friends who going to US and buy these seasons for me. I just love “everwood”. Or may be you can help me out if you do have them :)
The shows wonder around the family of Dr Andy Brown (Treat Williams), he used to be the top neuro surgeon in the field, always busy saving lives in hospital, but neglected his wife – Julia, his son – Ephram (Gregory Smith) and his daughter – Dylia. One day his wife got sick and Dr Brown couldn’t save Julia. Julia passed away…
This is where the story starts, Dr Brown decided to move to Everwood (a simple Colorado town) and started free family clinic practice there.
From series to series, the story always wonder around the life of Dr Andy Brown and his family in Everwood. The obstacles that they face; the situation where hard decision just have to be made, but there is no right or wrong for each choices that they have; the love story of young Ephram towards Amy (Emily Van Camp); the friendships that they made, the relationships that they made, simply touching; and many more. For some, it might be dull, but it touches me.
A brief intro on character Ephram and Dylia.

A brief intro on character Ephram and Dylia.
Ephram is a gifted pianist that plays good piano, and have a deep crush towards Amy. Yet, their love story never bloom, just like the relationship between Clark Kent and Lana Lane in Smallville. There always obstacles.
Dylia on the other hand is a girl being brought up by two men, who misses her mother - Julia so much, who wears a cap always and behave tomboyish. Yet in the story, she started to makes new girl friends and grew up as a girl. Although she is the youngest, sometimes she is more matured than Dr Brown and Ephram :)
I just finished S02e04 – “east meets west” tonight. Sharing with you some story lines from the episode, it is about “change”...
(at the beginning of the episode)
“From the frosting of the Rocky mountain to the carving down to the Great Canyon, Great change only comes from Conflict. But where nature’s greatest conflict consists of relentless pounding of water on rock, or collisions under the earth crust, for people to change, it takes other people”
(at the end of the episode) – Ephram wrotes
“The more things change, the more they stays the same”.
(at the end of the episode) – Ephram wrotes
“The more things change, the more they stays the same”.
I am not sure who is the first who said that, probably Shakespeare, but at the moment, is the sentence best explains my tragic flaw. I have the inability to change…
I don’t think I am alone in this, the more I get to know other people, the more I realize it is kind of everyone’s flaw…
Staying exactly the same, for as long as possible, standing perfectly still. It feels better some how, and if you are suffering, at least the pain is familiar…
Because if you took that leap of faith, went outside the box, did something unexpected… who knows what other pain might be waiting out there. Chances are could be even worst…
So, you maintain the status quo, choose the road already traveled, and it doesn’t seem that bad, that is as far as flaws go, you are not a drug addict, you are not killing anyone, except may be yourself a little…
When we finally do change, I don’t think it happens like an earthquake or an explosion, or all the sudden we like this different person… I think it is smaller than that… the kind of thing that most people wouldn’t notice unless they look really really close, which thank god they never do…
But you notice it. Inside you that change feels like the world is different, and you hope that it is, and this is the person you get to be forever… that you never have to change again…

Grey's Anatomy Season 1-3 & counting;

The Unit season 1;
^_^ now you know how much time i have killed since last year :)
Well, back to the main topic, "Kyle XY". Although the series is just plain 9 episodes of season 1, it meant a bit special as i interpret it after i had watched it.
For introduction, as normal, the series is about the US government conspiracy to create an advance human being with high level of IQ through cloning. "Kyle" is the name of the main character and "XY" signify the chromosome combination of a male. Kyle was "borned" without a belly button in the jungle and is a teenager around 17yrs old, if i am not mistaken.
As the show evolves, it is actually about Kyle exploring the unknown world to him with curiousity & eagerness, absorbing them like a sponge, trying to understand his feeling as a human (including love), interact with other human and trying to understand their behavior. Sometimes, as we grew up, we had changed until we have forgotten how we used to view things as a child. And Kyle shows the way. It is not about innocent or pure, but is about what you really want in life, which is "happyness".
Kyle was adopted by a social worker doctor, who find Kyle was "different" because of his unique behavior. The doctor thought Kyle has suffers from trauma and trying to cure him by absorbing him into her family of a son, a daugther and a husband.
In one part, when Kyle was first brought into the house, Kyle was amazed seeing many many family photos hanging on the wall of infants with the doctor. He met the son and daughter, then seeing how much the doctor love her children, how happy the doctor and the children are in the photos, he came to a conclusion that as time goes by, they would eventually become infant (not growing old). He came to such conclusion because he himself has not memory of infancy since he was cloned. He yearn for the day he would become a infant and be loved by doctor. At certain point, Kyle then realize that it was the opposite, human do grew up. He felt dissapointed a bit, yet he was a bit lost as he knew nothing about his childhood.
In another scene, in one morning, Kyle was curious why the doctor talk about appointment at ??am; the husband talk about needing to reach certain location at ??am; son and daugther need to attend class at ??am. He totally has no sense of what "time" really meant and why the people around him bounded themselve with the "time" thing, rushing here and there. In fact, he dont even bother to try to understand the "time" rules, and explore the world as he like, with happyness always around him, with a smile always on the face. Remind me of how happy i am when i was a kid. It totally gave me a reminder how happyness should be.
In a few scene as well, Kyle was totally lost when he cant understand the feeling of him felling in love as well as later broken in love with the neighbor's daugther. In one evening, as Kyle sat in the living room, he heard a beautiful piano song (Canon) played from far. He interpret the tone of the song with mathematical equation, yet there are certain part that he cant understand in the song, he felt the sadness in the song, the sadness of the pianist. He walk toward the neighbor house, go into the living room, that is the first time Kyle met his love, yet he suddenly cried because of the sadness in the song, and had scared the girl. He then later found out the sadness is because the girl has lost her father. Later, he still dont quite understand about his love, the only way he express it is through his drawing. Btw, the way he draw is very unique. He capture scenes like a digital camera in his mind, with all the detail of every pixels, and started drawing exactly like a printer, by creating dot dot dot on the paper, using different color combination of crayon, and the output is exactly like the printer. He drew the girl, in one moment he tried to pass the drawing to the girl, but he then suddenly found out that girl has a boyfriend, he withheld, he is sad, yet still not able to understand why he felt such way...
These are just some of the uniqueness that i found in the show. May be you can watch it if have the chance, and share with me you views :) Till then.
